Hi there

I am very new to the Celebrity Slim (as in i've started this morning!) and it just happened that I will be dining out in Revolution on my first night... nightmare but is totally unavoidable. After reading through what I can and cant have I have seen these two dishes and wanted to get any advise as to which would be best!!

8oz Rump Steak (I would ask to double up the salad rather than have chips!!)
Juicy steak, grilled plum tomato, dressed rocket leaves and a choice of Krupnik glaze or peppercorn sauce.

The Revolution Salad (Would I be able to have Chicken, Bacon & Goats Cheese)
Add your choice of topping to a large bowl of mixed leaves, pea shoots, sweetcorn, cucumber, beetroot and cherry tomatoes dressed in our house chilli, lime and herb dressing. Then choose your choice of topping. Chicken & Bacon and Melted Goat’s Cheese or Goat’s Cheese & Chilli Crostini (v)

I've already been strict and staying off the alcohol and having a diet coke!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Hi Tracey,

Personally if it was me i would go for the rump steak with no sauce and as you've already said double up on salad, this is more likely to be more filling so you wont be tempted by deserts or to have a nibble of anyone elses mains! plus having steak seems like a bit of a treat, the salad is something you can make any night yourself and you have more control over what you want to go in it as you wouldnt be able to have the sweetcorn and may be a bit bland without any dressings? x

I agree with Kwright, the steak is the best option!  Good for you looking at the menu beforehand...i always do that, i know what i want before i go and that way i dont read the menu and chose something else!

Thanks guys this is really helpful! :)

I did think the steak would be the best option but thought it seemed too much of a treat on the first day!

Its gonna be tough resisting the desserts but i'm a woman on a mission!!! x

Steak is a good source of protein!  Make sure it's lean and cut all the fat off. x

Oh and you could ask for it to be grilled - more healthy!

I'm quite good with taking the fat off so that shouldnt be a problem its resisting the wine that will be harder! I've made myself designated driver for the night and allowing a glass of diet coke!

Thanks for the encouragement... it really helps :) x
