Firstly well done on your loss! :)  My first tip would be to try different allowable snacks throughout the week so you don't get bored. Secondly fill a litre bottle of water in the morning and aim to drink that by lunch time then fill it again and aim to drink it by tea time/evening. That way your guaranteed to have put in your 2 litre a day and if you work it right you're not getting up in the night visiting the toilet. My third tip is keep focused! My current goal to lose 3 stone ( already lost 10lb in two weeks since I started) is my wedding in september. If you don't have an event you are aiming at losing weight for then find a dress/item of clothing you really want to wear one day. So every time you get tempted just picture your goal in your head and think a minute of pleasure just isn't worth all the hard work you have already put in. My last tip is to get walking. Walking is so good, especially if you can power walk. Set yourself small goals at first and build them up, don't over do it or you will flag and think negative and will be more tempted to give up. Reward yourself with pamper treats to make you feel good too. I bought some false eyelashes and some new lipstick :) little 'pick me ups' are better than filling my belly with the usual junk I used to eat.

I hope you keep on doing well, remember as long as it's a loss it's a loss. Ive lost less this week than I did last week but my fella just reminded me when I complained… he said ' at least it's a loss and not a gain'  Knowing I didn't lose as much as I did last week has only spurred me on to do better this week. Sometimes we need little wake up calls to motivate us ;)

Good luck and take care

Thanks Kerrie. Congratulations on wedding. I don't have a sweet tooth and struggle with sweetness of shakes. Enjoying soups. Thanks for tips. Will use. Night time trips to loo was definitely an issue! Cheryl

I'm pretty sure we are allowed them; they are less than 10g of carbs per 100g. I really like the citrus ones although I haven't had them for a long time.

Best of luck!! x

Mishmash that is an amazing amount of weight you've lost! So encouraging! I have around 60lbs to loose to hit my first ideal target but it seems so far away (im only in week 2) but seein that it can be achieved is really inspiring! :)

Well done!

Thanks very much, It's amazing to hear I am inspiring someone, when I first started people on this forum were a huge inspiration to me (they still are). I lost most of the weight a year ago and have pretty much stalled since then, to be honest I needed a break.

I have only started getting back into it. I just have to keep telling myself that if I could stay motivated for a year I can stay motivated for another. I was lucky in that during my loss I never really hit a wall, I lost pretty much every week and that helped to keep me motivated. Fingers crossed this time it goes similarly, I'm very motivated now though. Eventually the weeks start running together and it just becomes part of daily life...You'll get there too.
