I know this is entirely implausible but i'm clutching at straws. I'm 14st 9lb and need to get to 13st by 17th April! We are going on holiday to the Lake District and my main thing that i've been sooooo excited about is going for a horse ride in the countryside. The weight limit at my local stable is 16 stone so I just thought i'd ring ahead to check what it was at the stable we will be staying near. Turns out it's 13 stone. I will be devastated if I can't ride but don't see that I can get to that weight in time. I could turn up and lie but somehow don't think that will work! :((((

It's hard to say, some people have and some dont.  All you can do is try?  I would give it a go and be very strict with yourself. x

Smile It's been so long since I last did this diet, all I can remember is that it's no carb. Shake, bar or soup 2 a day and one no carb meal as well as allowable snacks in between?

That's about it . I lost 7lbs in the first week but I must admit that although I am sticking to the diet I don't expect the same weight loss this week. You never know however. This diet has certainly kick started my metabolism, nothing else has had a similar effect in the past so I am more than happy with it.

maybe an exercise plan will make all of the difference to you, I have done none. Combine CS and a good bit of exercise and you may well manage it.

Good luck Smile

Right now. Don't think those two slices of coffee cake for breakfast will help though! So many bad habits to get out of.  I only found out about 30 mins ago, so from now on. I remember the first week being awful, my cravings for sugar sent me totally manic! I wonder if anybody else on here is just starting?

The first week is always the hardest.  Get yourself the supermarket and plan your snacks and meals for the week and stick to it.  Get yourself a starter pack as well as it lists all the foods you can and cant have.  The caffeine withdrawal was the hardest for me as i went from 15 cups of tea a day to now 2-3 decaf per day and i feel so more energetic lol.

You have support on here and FB - Good luck!

You will deffo not look like a hippo!!  July is very achievable and realistic for your goal!  What is your goal?  What are you wanting to lose altogether?  Mine is 3 stone and i have lost 2st 1lb so far...! :)

Not to ut a dampner on yiu at all but I honestly don't see you managaing to lose 21 lbs in 3 weeks

The first week you may well lose 7 lbs, but expecting to lose 7lbs on week 2 & 3 may be a little hard.

How tall are you? I think with a weight of 14st 9lbs it will be hard

my stating weight was 15st 8 and I managed to lose 8lbs in 3 weeks, however there are people on here who have lost a lot more.

i really hope you do it, and I would say the best advice is to drink lots of water, excercise and eat little often :)

It took me 5 months to lose a stone and a half...however I was on and off the diet a lot.

Good Luck

xoxo

Thank you all so much for taking the time to post. I'm 5ft 9 so can carry extra weight fairly well but I think that i'd be a lot more comfortable between 12 and 13 stone. I have no desire to be skinny! As for the holiday is 3 weeks, I realise that at best I can probably lose 10/12lbs but i'm hoping that if i turn up i'll be able to bluff my way to getting a ride. Unless they whip the scales out. Can you imagine how mortifying that would be to go, lie about my weight then get turned away for being too fat!? You seem really clued up Haylz and so near your goal, good person to know I reckon! Missy, good luck with this first week, it's bound to be tough on us. Let me know how it goes. xxx
